Distance from Airport SKG Macedonia Thessaloniki is 86 km (1 h 5 m). Tourists from neighboring countries arrive mainly by car or bus, a comfortable ride through the well-developed road infrastructure of northern Greece.
Polichrono is among the most popular resort areas in Kassandra and the entire of Greece for vacationers, with a great beach, developed tourist facilities, and a rich history. It's located near Hanioti and Pefkohori, other popular resort areas, and Kallithea, which is the main entertaining hub of the Kassandra peninsula.
Polichrono and its waters are accounted as one of the cleanest in Greece, recognized by the Blue Flag. It features a beautiful environment and nature, with the landscape dominated by pine forests and olive tree plantations.
